The Properties

The newly built Margarida Apartments are situated in a quiet, wooded area of the resort, overlooking the 12th hole of the Royal Golf Course and near to the bowling lawn and the tennis centre. The apartments are luxury properties of two & three bedrooms, with sizes from 110 sqm to 130 sqm of internal construction, offering the highest standard of accommodation. The interiors of the properties favour the use of natural stone and wood and ceramic tiling. The modern Alno kitchens and bathrooms include the highest quality appliances. Each apartment benefits from private access lifts directly into the hallway, double glazing and air conditioning throughout with the benefit of its own pool or terrace jacuzzi.

Facilities

Creating an environment where owners, guests and their families feel completely relaxed and safe is of primary concern at Vale do Lobo. The resort has it's own ambulance and fire service, 24 hour Medical Centre, and 24 hour shuttle bus service transporting residents around the resort so all facilities are accessible. A state of the art closed circuit TV system also operates day and night to ensure safety at the resort.

An exclusive self-contained community, Vale do Lobo ensures that everything it's residents and guests could need is close at hand, including a bank, post office and newsagent, well stocked supermarket, children's village and insurance brokers.

The Royal Spa at Vale do Lobo is a world of absolute relaxation and comfort. 12 treatment rooms offer a wide variety of treatments ranging from the absolutely natural - such as herbal thereapies, tranditional Oriental cures and Swedish massage - to the latest vitamin-enriched treatments all complemented by faciltities including saunas, steam room and a pool. Classes such as spinning and yoga are available as well as personal training.

Golf

Vale do Lobo is home to two challenging and beautiful golf courses, which have twice been host to European PGa Tour event, the Portuguese Open.

The Royal Golf Course has rolling fairways set amidst pine trees and beautiful lakes surrounded by wild flowers. It's features include the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th, with cliff-top carryover - one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world, which has become the veritable symbol of golf in the Algarve.

Dining

Over 15 restaurants can be found in Vale do Lobo of which half located at the beachside Praça, which is the social hub of Vale do Lobo, in the evenings, resonating with the sounds of live music and buzzing with a relaxed atmosphere. The options at the Praça range from the exclusive La Place and TeaHouse Oriental to pizzeria La Terrazza, Monty´s steakhouse and the more casual dining options of Papagaio, Sandbanks and the Beach Bar, all of which offer children´s menus. During the day, La Crêperie is a perfect lunch or snack option. In Tennis Valley, Ken Lo´s Memories of China is an ideal dining option for those looking for a quieter environment. Tennis Café overlooking the courts does great value chef´s specials at lunch time, as well as light meals throughout the day.

Meanwhile, catering in particular to golfers are Spikes Restaurant and Brasserie in Parque do Golfe and the Cafe Royal.

The Invesment

An optional 10 year guaranteed rental income is on offer with the Margarida Apartments. This return is net of all running costs and will include 4 weeks of personal usage per annum - with the exclusion of July & August, however, these weeks are available at an owners discount of 35% on the Vale do Lobo rack rate.
